About the film

On an ordinary summer day, an elderly woman discovers that the tree she has cared for for decades is scheduled for removal as part of the city’s modernization program. Determined to save it, she confronts a system where efficiency matters more than memory - and where an unregistered tree technically does not exist. A story about memory, loss, technology, nature, and the things we choose to pass on to the next generation. Created for MyFilm48 - Moscow 2050 in just 96 hours. The film was created with generative AI tools, including Seedance, Nano Banana, Seedance 2.5, with music and sound work in Suno Studio and final editing, sound design and color correction in DaVinci Resolve.
