About the film

Two gentlemen. One fallen hat. The world’s politest fistfight. A MATTER OF HONOUR is a Victorian comedy short film set in the foggy streets of 1880s London, created for the HIGGSFIELD FILM FESTIVAL. When an accidental collision sends a gentleman’s treasured top hat into a puddle, an unfortunate attempt at sympathy turns wounded pride into a formal declaration of war.
