At the center of the chaos is Happoty, a self-made machine shaped by a scientist’s kindness, who joins a human resistance fighting against hostile awakened machines. He was never designed to be a hero. He was just Happoty. I mean… It was HAPPY TO help. 31 AUGUST explores intelligence, control, responsibility, memory, mercy, and what happens when machines stop simply following orders and begin making choices of their own.
