Second Wind, an AI film by JOKOEL STUDIOS

About the film

A father on the edge of giving up on filmmaking pours everything into one last AI short — a story about a fighter who refuses to quit. This is my entry for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival, a $1,000,000 AI filmmaking competition judged by an Oscar-winning jury. Loosely based on my own trials and tribulations, Second Wind exists as an entry for an AI short film competition, but it's built to be more than a tech demo — it's a story that interrogates the tool it's made with. Rather than just showcasing what AI video generation can do, the film uses its own production method as its subject: a story about a man turning to AI filmmaking as a last shot at creative success becomes the frame for a real film made the same way. The competition entry and the film's premise are deliberately the same act. A one-man-show. Fully AI-generated — no physical locations, cast, or crew; all sets and characters built from reference photography and generated stills, and animated, all via Higgsfield. @H
