About the film
Left Over Limes An original comedy music film created for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival 2026. When her boyfriend leaves in a hurry, one woman is left with the usual evidence of a relationship suddenly interrupted — keys, half-drunk tea, a forgotten scarf… and an inexplicable number of leftover limes. What begins as heartbreak quickly turns into citrus chaos as the limes appear everywhere: on the counters, in cupboards, in the fridge and in places they definitely shouldn’t be. Eventually there is only one sensible response: If life gives you limes… Bhangra the sadness. A colourful, playful story about heartbreak, friendship, resilience and learning to turn life's ridiculous leftovers into something worth dancing about.
