About the film

An urban explorer live-streams from an abandoned palace. The broadcast was never his. FINAL CUT. LOS TESTIGOS (The Witnesses) is a horror short made by one person, with no crew and no budget. Every image was generated with AI inside Higgsfield Cinema Studio, in the official festival project; all music, ambience and sound design are AI-generated. What AI cannot do is decide what to show and what to withhold. That part is the film. This cut was rebuilt after a public test of the work-in-progress with around 300 viewers on a Spanish forum. Their notes shaped it: shorter arrival, no filler, a reactive viewer counter, an ending built on the interface alone. No dialogue. 21:9. Locked-off camera.
