About the film

Deep in a quiet, crystal-lit cave, a massive shaggy fire monster tries his absolute best to practice being fierce and terrifying. But terrifying just isn’t in his nature. Watching from the shadows is his tiny, starry-eyed apprentice, who might just have a much bigger surprise hidden beneath his quiet roar. "Big Scary" is an original, wordless 3D animated short film blending tactile stop-motion charm with heartwarming physical comedy.
