About the film

KARMA is an original AI short film written, directed, edited and produced by me. And my entry for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival. One person, 45 days, no crew. Biggest creative project I've ever taken on. Yorrick, heavily infuenced by is environment, sets his eyes on a new watch to impress his crush. To afford it, he's taken $100 that isn't his, and the consequences are coming round his way. As per the competition rules, every frame and every sound was AI-generated. I've been using AI to build worlds for a while now, Antonio, Surviving The Cows, all of it, worlds I could never have shot without a massive budget and a crew. As an independent filmmaker, the fact that I can now put something this cinematic on screen is the most exciting thing that's happened to me in years. More than anything this is me showing what I can do as a storyteller with the tools in front of me, and I'm going to keep pushing with them. I'm really happy with this one and excited to finally share it. Hope
