About the film
Dust & Feathers is a dark comedy Western short film created with AI for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival 2026. You can check out the open source project here: www.higgsfield.ai/@mohammad-ali/projects/dust-feathers In 1930s Texas, during the Great Depression, an exhausted old man and a stubborn rooster become trapped in an increasingly absurd battle of wills. In a world with little left to give, neither is willing to surrender. Set against a landscape of dust, poverty, and approaching storms, the film brings together deadpan humor and an intimate story of grief, revenge, and unexpected compassion. A small feud unfolds beneath an enormous sky.
