Story Ark

About the film

With only one year before the world ends, an optimistic young snail and a loyal kiwi bird embark on an impossible journey to reach a distant Ark. Along the way, their unlikely friendship becomes their greatest hope for survival. After six weeks of prompting, editing, rebuilding, sound design and thousands of little trials, errors and lessons, my first short film—and first competition piece—is finally finished. Every creative choice was intentional—from the fast trailer-style opening and musical reveal to everything that follows. Whether it places or not, I’m genuinely proud that I finished it, and I hope it opens doors for whatever comes next. Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored, encouraged me or gave honest feedback. You helped make this possible. For anyone curious about the criteria: the film had to run for at least three minutes, all generated visuals had to be created through Higgsfield, and all audio had to be AI-generated. I would’ve loved to work with local voice
