Context: We wanted to see if AI could make a real drama. There’s sci-fi in the film, but we kept it grounded. The experiment was whether AI could sell small human moments and real emotion, not just make cool-looking shots. Narrative: It’s about regret, family, and the temptation to fix your past. The audience is anyone who likes realistic, Black Mirror-esque sci-fi that feels human before it feels futuristic. Visuals: Pittsburgh should look like Pittsburgh: worn-in, drab, ordinary, and real. We’re mixing traditional narrative photography with shitty early-2000s digital-camera footage. We’re also using AI to move characters through time and build believable families.
