About the film

"This isn't art." The same three words, across 200 years. 1839 - a painter says it to a photographer. 1895 - that photographer says it to a filmmaker. Today - that filmmaker says it to his own child. Every new medium has been called "not art" before it was accepted — usually by people who were told the same thing a generation earlier. Each victim becomes the next accuser, and nobody notices they're in the chain. There is no dialogue in this film except the accusation itself. Everything else is image, gesture, and silence. Anderson (Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat). Project page: Written, directed and genera
